One of the advantages of FlowMo is that we can integrate directly with your Looker instance so we can pull data and settings. This is how our helper agents can do work for you. To get setup, you need to securely share:
  • credentials for a Looker admin (email and password)
  • API keys for the same user
We need both sets of credentials because not all information is available through the API, and not all data is available through the web.

Step 1: Create a Looker API key

  • Navigate to your instance
  • Click on the admin menu
  • Click on the user menu
  • Click on the user you want to use
  • Click on the API keys link
  • Click on the New API key button
  • Copy the client ID and client secret

Step 2: Share the credentials with us

  • Go the organization settings page
  • Paste the email and password in the Looker credentials section
  • Paste the client ID and client secret in the Looker API key section
